News, Easter Eggs, Reviews, Theories and Rumors

WARNING: The following contains constantly updated spoilers for Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, which premieres on Disney+ on December 29th.

After the success of The Mandalorian’s first two seasons, Lucasfilm is going all in on its Star Wars content on Disney+. Its next project – The Book of Boba Fett -- is set to release soon, and fans couldn’t be more excited for the premiere. The series should pick up right after the famed bounty hunter killed Bib Fortuna in the surprise mid-credit’s scene from The Mandalorian. From there, Boba will look to solidify his control of Jabba the Hutt’s old criminal empire.

Boba Fett has been a fan-favorite character ever since his first appearance in The Empire Strikes Back, but following his “death” in Return of the Jedi, he didn’t receive any cannon attention until his part in The Mandalorian. Now, he’s finally getting his due. The first of the series’ seven episodes will arrive on Disney+ on December 29th, as a late Christmas present for fans of the galaxy far, far, and it will be a perfect lead-in to an exciting, coming year for Star Wars. So, to keep up to date with the latest news, reviews, recaps, Easter eggs, theories and rumors involving The Book of Boba Fett, here's a guide to the Star Wars series.

Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett’s Crew And Cast

As far as the series’ crew goes, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are executive producers like they were for The Mandalorian, and they each directed an episode. Additionally, Ludwig Göransson is back from The Mandalorian as the series’ composer and is joined by Joseph Shirley.

Other than getting more details about Boba Fett’s character, the best part about the series is that Temuera Morrison is back. He played Jango Fett in Attack of the clones and did voice work as Boba in 2004’s DVD release of the Original Trilogy. Joining Morrison is Ming-Na Wen, who plays Fennec Shand – a brutally skilled mercenary who owes her life to Boba. Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett’s Story

At the moment, The Book of Boba Fett’s story is fairly straightforward. Boba and Fennec Shand work together to take over what was once Jabba’s criminal empire. However, it’s been five years since Jabba’s death, and they will have their work cut out for them. Other than that, the series could take any number of turns relating to Din Djarin, Luke Skywalker, Grogu or any other character in the MandoVerse, especially since all of the series’ marketing material is only from the first episode. This section will have a detailed breakdowns of each episode of The Book of Boba Fett once they are available.

Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett’s Easter Eggs And References

The Book of Boba Fett will undoubtedly have countless Easter eggs and callbacks to other Star Wars projects, but already has a few just from its trailers and TV spots. For one, Fennec Shand is a huge character connection to The Bad Batch and The Mandalorian. On top of that, the series calls back to the original trilogy with much of its plot happening on Tatooine. Not only that, though, it looks like the iconic Tosche Station will get its first appearance in canon. There’s sure to be a lot more when the series releases, and you can find an updated list of those Easter eggs here.

Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett's Theories And Rumors

Given that the series is part of the Star Wars franchise, speculation is a must. Maybe the biggest question about The Book of Boba Fett centers around who its primary antagonist will be, and there has been plenty of speculation about it.
