The Book of Boba Fett's Wookiee, Hutts and Tusken Get New Character Posters

WARNING: The following contains spoilers from The Book of Boba Fett "Chapter 2: The Tribes of Tatooine,” streaming now on Disney+.

Disney+ released a handful of new character posters from The Book of Boba Fett that highlight some of the key characters introduced in Episode 2 of the new series.

The first poster shared on the official Star Wars Twitter account focuses on the Wookiee bounty hunter Black Krrsantan, who made his debut in Episode 2 ("Chapter 2: The Tribes of Tatooine") after being hired as the muscle for a pair of Hutts that also received their own poster.

While Krrsantan's introduction in The Book of Boba Fett marks the character's first appearance in a live-action Star Wars project, readers of the Marvel-produced Star Wars comics will be familiar with him already. The character notably debuted in the first issue of 2015's Darth Vader comic series and served as a regular in both that series and the Doctor Aphra series.

As mentioned previously, the second character poster features The Twins, a brother and sister crime lord duo who are also cousins of Jabba the Hutt. The Twins were introduced in the latest episode during a confrontation with Boba Fett about contesting the bounty hunter's claim to Jabba's former throne.

The final poster focuses on a pair of Tuskens, one of whom was the warrior who taught Fett how to wield a Gaffi stick. The Tusken character poster also appears to reference a major plot point from Episode 2, which involved Fett stealing speeders from a nearby gang and teaching the Tuskens how to ride them so they could defend their territory from the Pike Syndicate spice train.

While only two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett are currently streaming on Disney+, hardcore Star Wars fans have been pleased about the mix of returning characters and unexpected cameos in the series so far. Black Krrsantan's surprise transition to live-action in Episode 2 was particularly well-received by fans, as was the return of Max Rebo in Episode 1 and the unexpected inclusion of R-3X, the main character in the Star Tours theme park ride.

With so many unexpected appearances in The Book of Boba Fett already, it's no surprise that rumors are swirling around who may be next to get their own character poster. One of the many unconfirmed rumors suggests a future episode might include Harrison Ford as Han Solo and use the same de-aging technology used for Mark Hamill's return as Luke Skywalker in the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian.

A storyline involving Fett and Solo also seems likely considering Fett was first introduced in Star Wars: Episode V -- The Empire Strikes Back as the bounty hunter looking for Solo and in Return of the Jedi, Solo was responsible for inadvertently knocking Fett into the Sarlacc pit. Although the pair crossed paths several times in the extended Star Wars universe, an appearance by Solo in The Book of Boba Fett would be their first canon interaction since the original trilogy of movies.

New episodes of The Book of Boba Fett are available on Disney+ every Wednesday.
